In the United Kingdom, Bull-and-terriers were used in bloodsports such as bull baiting and bear baiting. These bloodsports were officially eliminated in 1835 when Britain introduced animal welfare laws. And there of course has been dog fighting. All of those are examples of people exploiting animals for their own purposes. The dogs themselves didn't organize hunts or fights. People used them for their abilities.

Neighbor had a wolf breed that was great until his 3 year old got attacked. Not sure how many breeding generations was necessary to remove the wolf out of the dog, but breeding animals for characteristics is a master's work.
The owners of these animals that viciously attack should be given equal treatment with the same nice animals that might be a solution.. If was my child that would be my emotional response.

You funny man. I've seen some dogs like that last one. Had a rotweiler come out in the street to the truck. They didn't get their delivery that day.
