Question for Tues though Sat workers

I'm a new driver. Our building started Tues through Saturday after Memorial Day so I'm wondering what will happen with Labor Day in two weeks? Do we just get paid for Monday and not really get a day off work or what?

Pretty much. You are off though, on Monday. But have to work Tuesday. I have heard the union is working on language for this in the next contract, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

Suppose you get paid for Monday as Holiday pay, then Saturday would be a 6th punch at time and a half?

In my building, Tues-Saturday people get Tuesday off when we have a Monday holiday.
