If there was a case to be made against FedEx, it would have been made.

How do you know? Perhaps the right people made the case go away. FedEx has extremely powerful political connections, and since our judiciary is wrongly interconnected with politics, it's quite possible The Weasel snaked his way out.

Here's a fun fact, Denial. Did you know that FedEx routinely moves cases to courts where Republican appointees are the judge,as in moving a suit from a local superior court to Federal court if the dollar threshold is met. Wonder why that is.

It is not uncommon for corporations to move cases.

New deflection technique? Look up some cases, and you'll see that FedEx will routinely move a case from a local court to a federal court if that judge is a GOP appointee. How many cases has FDX intentionally moved to the Ninth Circuit? I'm guessing zero.

What does any of that have to do with the case that we are discussing? I'm guessing zero, it's just another of your therapy-worthy tactics to rationalize outcomes that you don't like after you went 'nads-deep (again) on an issue and wound up wrong (again).

After succeeding in getting class actions filed in 20 states moved into the U.S. District Court for Central Region X's buddy judge Miller ruled that contractors in those states were contractors not employees. Well later on the U.S. 9th Circuit of Appeals in a similar case saw it differently . The Kansas State Supreme saw it differently. And expecting the U.S. 7th Circuit Court of Appeals to overturn their buddy Miller's ruling X has offered to settle. Oh yeah when got everything moved into a friendly judges court they thought they had it made. Funny another nationwide class action filed under ERISA strangely ended up in front of X friendly Judge MIller . This time their buddy judge surprisingly granted the suit class action certification and allowed it to go forward.

Perhaps all X cases should now be heard at the U.S. 9th Circuit of Appeals. It's truly shocking how intertwined the judiciary is with business and politics. GOP types hate the 9th Circuit because it's perceived as liberal. I'm wondering if they're just mad that someone could actually get a fair trial against a Fortune 500 business via the 9th Circuit.

Everything. Political connections equal judicial connections as well. The fact that FedEx maneuvers cases to friendly courts is proof that they think they'll benefit by doing so. Lets' see, Dano. Has FDX ever gotten favorable rulings in other areas, like unionization, for example?

All of the parties, money, and free trips pay-off for Fred. He is very good at playing the system, and has the resources to make what he wants to happen take place more often than not.

How about his Boeing deal, where he blackmailed Boeing and the government into keeping the RLA the joke that it is? It certainly worked on the Senators from Boeing, and on the Obama administration, which dropped the effort. After all, nobody wants to be blamed for lost jobs as we are exiting a recession. That would be bad form.

Smith has plenty of political and judicial leverage, and having his flak biotch come on her and say otherwise doesn't change anything.

And this has frak-all to do with the case we were talking about except to divert the discussion away from it because you made another failed prediction. Seriously, get over it.

It's got everything to do with it but you're just a shill that's "programmed" to believe everything FedEx and Fred does is always on the up and up. So shut up!
