I used to love Sugar Smacks......Malt-o-Meal makes an identical cereal. I think it's called Honey Puffs.

When I used to spend a night at my aunt's house, this was the only cereal in her cupboard....eeewww!!

I remember those. I didn't have them a lot but did sometimes. They were more expensive than regular boxes of cereal but gave you a variety. Also good for trying newer cereals.

Most malls at 9:00 a.m. have a bench that looks like this one........they are usually holding their coffee.

Weren't the boxes foil lined so you could just pour the milk right in the box

Good lord --- can you imagine all the bawling and crying to their mothers that would be going on. And the parents would be running to the school board putting a stop to it.

It's funny you mention that.

I was sitting at a red light the other day and there was an older couple riding their bikes. The gentleman was having difficulty getting his bike up on to the sidewalk and ended up falling in the road. I immediately threw on the 4 ways, secured the vehicle and rushed over to help him.

I was the only person at a busy intersection who rushed to his aid.

Thankfully the only thing hurt was his pride.

When I fell at Ralphs, the first thing I looked for was....who saw that?
The produce mgr helped me up....he was on break at the time on the patio. Pavers lifted by tree roots makes for an uneven surface. A month later I had a scan for something else and it showed 3 broken ribs (post-traumatic). It took a month and a half for things to heal.......
No expenses were incurred, so no suit was necessary. It happened March 14th and they still haven't fixed it....I'm told the paperwork has been submitted and the work has been ordered.
