Saturday night bath... and the wringer washer on the front porch. I remember the good ole' days!!
This reminds me of visits to family in Lemont Furnace, PA. None of the houses had bathrooms. Bath time was a huge metal tub in the middle of the kitchen filled with water that had been boiled on the wood stove mixed with the well water.
The kids took turns in the tub and everyone used the same water.

The Lennon Sisters: Who can forget Lawrence Welk.. Every Saturday night we would all gather around the tv and be glued to it for that hour.
I have to admit------I hated the Lawrence Welk Show. But when you only received 2 or three fuzzy channels you couldn't be too fussy.
