Seasonal driver with a felony?

Hey guys my buddy I’ve know my whole life works at UPS for 6 years and he talked to his boss today about getting me a seasonal delivery driver position. He told me his boss seemed interested and eager to call me and get me in for an interview. He did call me today and asked me to come in Monday for an interview.

only problem is the boss doesn’t know I have a felony (larceny 3rd) from 8 years ago. It’s nothing major and I was young and had a co-defendant at the time. I wasn’t even the one who committed the charge but that doesn’t matter.

do you guys think this will hurt my chances at getting the position?
Bro a couple years ago I had a dude in my building that was on probation with the ankle monitor on... the crazy part is that he was on probation for stealing mail and packages

The truth never changes.

Stealing. Amazing.
Except that management knowingly steals from part timers every day when they do hourly work and screw people out of pay in hearings so I guess that makes them great management candidates.

The disruptions don't bother me, I know things are being processed and soon it will be better. I just want the mods to be the best that they can be.

I guess if I were a mod, anytime someone wanted a name change and they are brand new, I would make sure that I corrected the name change across the board to reflect the new name so that the original name did not appear anywhere else....that's probably why I'm not a mod though.:raspberry-tounge::raspberry-tounge:
Members change their own names. Mods are not involved. Not sure how name changes will be processed when we move to the new version of xenforo. If someone reports that the names on existing posts need to be changed I'll go back through and manually change them. Otherwise it's likely no one on the mod side will know the name was changed.

Not how it works at UPS. If they like you they will bring you back after peak as a part timer and dangle that possibility of becoming a full time driver in front of you like a carrot. It takes years, close to a decade even in some places.
Takes 30 days and you’re in off the street hire. They’re dying for full time regular package drivers at our hub.

From reading your posts.... trust me there are many many many many many many many many...............many reasons you're not a mod.

Ok then. Glad we got that figured out!

I could think of none. Must be an oversight on @cheryl s part to not have asked me to become a mod.

At my hub they do not hire thieves, period. They hire murderers but not thieves. Once unloaded a trailer with a dude and he was telling me about his 25 years in jail and how and why he killed the dude.

It was a trip.

I was denied a job as a seasonal feeder driver until I got my felony expunged. Got it expunged, worked as a seasonal feeder for 2 yrs. Now permanent. Get it expunged.

LOL I can’t wait when I get this job Monday and come back to this and laugh in your face. Straight loser tough guy on the internet.

Speaking of losers. Wow dude. You are ballsy. Felony huh? Badge of honor for ya? So, you'll

admit that the only way you'll get the job is if your friend knows a boss? Because felons are still

shunned in society? And why would we(UPS) want to actually bring a non-repentant "Straight

loser tough guy on the internet" (felon)(thief) into our organization?

So did this guy get the job or what? I have a friend who's a felon for getting it in with a much younger girl when he was a young adult over a decade ago. You guys think he has a shot?
