seniority for drivers in hub

im wondering how does seniority apply to pters who are either air drivers, or cover drivers?
usually after peak season i get bumped off my pick off by an air driver or cover driver coming back to the hub that i have never seen before and are usually trained same day i get bumped off or i get asked to train them.

Not something your going to get a straight answer to on Brown Cafe as we all work under different regional and local supplements and riders.

Example: where I work "cover drivers" like myself are full time employees with work guarantees but just do not have a set route. In other areas "cover drivers" are a different class than "bid drivers".

Talk to senior people in your building that you know and trust, ask management, ask your BA and read your contract for the best answers to these questions.
