So what are yall thoughts parttimers

I’ll make it real simple for you.

1. $30 per hour ain’t gonna happen.

2. If there is a strike, you can expect to be on the unemployment line for a long time because the bottom 25% of package car drivers will be laid off and displacing part timers to get their 8 hours.

3. While a strike may be necessary to force the Company’s hand, it will hurt us a lot more than it will hurt them. It will just cost them money, via lost volume. It will cost us 25% of the workforce. Look at the seniority list and see where you fall.
What are ur thoughts now?

Maybe more than last time Will , but still will be less than half. Unless it’s in person at the facility.
It's going to have to be in person vote this time. Even if they come to agreement on Wednesday they still have to go through all the language and I have to finalize the local supplements. There's no way they can get all that done and mail out ballots and expect everything to be done by the 31st

Whatever happened to holding off on actually walking out and to continue working until a deal is reached.
This way the threat of a walkout is always hanging over Mgt heads and when the new deal is signed a BIG FAT RETRO check for all.
