This only happens a few times a year and only happens to criminals committing a crime. I am not worried about it.

There's like 40 million police interactions every year with citizens. A small number of interactions go bad, and they are amplified to a national discussion by people with a political agenda.

I was once in the wrong place at the wrong time, as a 13 year old. I complied and everything turned out fine. Police are humans doing a very difficult job.
