The creator of insulin in Germany wanted insulin to be free and gave up a vast fortune to support this goal. What does America do with this easy to make drug that cost hardly anything to make? Increasing charge more and more for it so a few people can be rich off the backs of America. People in America die from not being able to afford a drug that was developed over 100 years ago. America’s life expectancy and quality of care is more expensive than any other country and pathetic. Research and development of drugs in America is generally 80% tax payer funded but the companies make a killing off of it and do things that would be illegal in almost any other country on earth.
