Soliciting business on route?

Have any of you or know anyone who has solicited business for their side business on route? Namely dropping business cards or flyers. What's your experience?

I've known a few people that have done it. Knew a driver that did a lot of apartments and would slide his business card into every door he delivered and walked by. Also knew a driver that made tiki hut bars. Every time he ran into some would bought a house on his route he'd hand them a card. This was a long time a go though. I don't really recommend it these days.

If you dong it on a break probably not as big a deal. If you're on the clock and doing it can definitely see management viewing it as stealing time and cause problems for you, especially the mood they've been in the last few months.

Highly encouraged. Not only is it allowed but it will show management how entrepreneurial you are in your efforts to build a better you. Good luck in your side hustle and make sure to leave the business card on top of the package before you take a picture.

Nothing wrong with the quick mention of what it is you do. One of our drivers does well fixing fogged up headlights and detailing.
