Last I looked the official peso rate was about 126 to 1. But I can send money to myself through Western Union and get double that. Was 251 to 1 Tuesday through Western Union. Even more if you have Euros or Pounds. Makes Argentina a screaming bargain.

Nah, have a quality backpacking mattress between me and the ground. Found a small tenting campground that charges 300 Pesos a day. That's about $2.38. Fast wifi too.
