Stop Completing Pickups

Your first mistake is calling customers to see if they have anything going out. You get paid by the hour. Drive to the stop. End of story

I’ve seen people get walked off for this very thing. It all depends on the employee. If you’re a runner gunner you’re fine. But if you’re not, any little thing like this can cost you your job. I never understood drivers in package trying to save a couple minutes with stuff like this. You’ll just be sent to help someone else. Ever hear the saying “touch the book?”

Look how he talks. Probably some broken English foreigner that no one can understand but he blames everyone else for all the problems he /she faces on a daily basis.
Wow, you only keep talking about my English and nothing else. I don't see any concretes around you but the air, tree, and Firefly.
Well, your English doesn't help anything to get even close to my hourly wage that requires to live in the concretes.
i think the breed is most important than the language. What breed are you? Which country your race came from? What did your race has done to the US? Did your grandfather have many issues with broken English before?
In this topic, I could be more harsh racist than you cause my skin is brighter than your bloody color. You can start, I am ready scoobydiot.

Do you actually have a smart pick up account? Or are you ordering on demand service? You should still have your packages picked up regardless. I know I have had issues with on demand service at apartments and trailer parks where there is no apartment number or space number. Sounds like the center that services your area is poorly managed. I would recommend finding the center and talk to a supervisor at the customer counter to explain your situation. That would be your best bet to get the situation resolved. The 1800 number can be difficult to deal with.
Yes I do, and even UPS customer care asks the account number that binds to my smart pickup plan. I'm paying $8 per week $32 per month. during 3 months UPS picked up only once. they don't bother picking things up even at the front. and every door has room number in my apartment. And thank you very much for the tips I won't call 1800 number anymore.

Probably doest give the apt number when he calls the on demand in so the driver overrides the pick up and the oms office cant get ahold of him to get an apt #
I will try to test the request one last time before I cancel my subscription as those specialist ladies finally updated my pickup location with apartment number at the 8th attempt complaints.

Thanks for proving my point. And, thank you for continuing to pay your $8, it is keeping one more English speaking American employed!

You should at least seek a refund for the times your pick ups didn't occur. Hopefully having the apartment number will fix the problem, and I would leave the packages by your own door until you've made arrangrments with the driver to leave them elsewhere for them, they can have a note for the pick up location put in the DIAD.

So on my route I have 5 pickups. 3 of them I call first to ask if they have anything. If they say no, I don't even bother going to the stop & hit stop complete. I work in a heavy commercial area & the traffic is a nightmare, so Orion wouldn't even be feasible. Never had a problem with management about this. What do you guys think?

The customer pays for you to show up everyday.

My coworker had a driver in the office. He’s on a notice of term (2) for production already. Apparently the other on road saw a concern about a missed pickup. It was a smart pickup that didn’t drop out at pickup time. Idk how people don’t get this. IF ITS STILL IN THE BOARD THEN DO IT. IF ITS IN YOUR TRUCK THEN SHEET IT.

Don’t make a simple job complicated. You can make a very nice living delivering pizza boxes to door steps if you just do it lol
