Should also say that I understand how if some of the things the hard left is pushing for are somehow moved forward, it would be too much for moderates and the right and peaceful compromise would be impossible. Gun seizures, open borders, court packing, electoral college abolishment, unbalanced addition of red/blue states, free speech curbs, religious establishment taxes or restrictions, etc. The "just talk and try to be nice to each other" stuff wouldn't apply in that sort of case.

Remember: Democrats have PROMISED to all of the above. Openly. In plain sight. They are lining up the far left commies as we speak. In plain sight. You voted for it.
