storing packages in your garage???

What if there are hazardous chemicals that leak from a package? What about a package containing illegal drugs? You are assuming a certain amount of liability by doing so. Why can't UPS rent a storage container near by? There are other options that protect you. UPS is a multibillion-dollar corporation that shouldn't need your garage to operate!

the first time i've heard of storing packages in a barn was 1974.i just went from preload to driver.we had also got a new center mgr.one of the drivers was telling me that the c.m.was a driver at our center.one friday he wanted to get off early.so he put 20 packages in this barn went back monday picked them up and delivered them.today you would of been haung.this driver ended up being a mgr.course in those days they didn't scan boxes like they do today.i would be affraid to put any packages in my garage unless it was mine.even then.in those days if c.m.liked you they would turn there back and say don't do it again.never do that for this co.
