C"mon we got to pass the contract then read it. That is what the company and the union want. This whole lack of transparency and time crunch. The anticipation is driving me nuts election year and a contract year. Oh boy

I would like to see what they've agreed on.

What's still up in the air leave out, but what's agreed on show us

It's real simple.

Even though there might be a TA (tentative agreement) on a particular Article,

it can still be revisited later for modification.

They won't show us because they know it'll piss us all off.

Nope.

Wouldn't you feel betrayed, if they put out information that was renegotiated later ?

It's a fluid situation.... things can change.

Ok, if you can’t talk about contract negotiations. Why do you keep talking about contract negotiations

He sounds like someone that has been posting on a feeder FaceBook page.

"Here's what's going on in negotiations, but I can't name my source."

I'm not saying that's the case. Could be just a coincidence.

I have 2 friends that are high level Officials, on both the National and Central committees.

There's is no chance.... I would insult them.... by calling, and trying to pump them

for information. Besides, they have to much integrity to do that.

I don't disagree with any of that, up until when the membership was solicited for a strike authorization.

At that juncture, things are no longer "fluid", entitling us to an explanation as to what the "sticking points" are.

Bottom line, in my honest opinion, the IBT has not earned the trust in the last 20+ years of negotiations with UPS to afford them this type of carte blanche authority that goes along with a strike authorization request....but they got it anyway.

I hope we aren't sorry....again???
