Lol nah Brah that’s not how seniority works
Lower seniority gonna get the crappy jobs nobody else want
4 10's is a cake walk.... in feeders.

4 10's in pkg.... is just asking for accidents and more injuries.
Until lately we did 5 10’s in our center. It’s really not that bad. I would be irate if I lost my over eight OT and time bonus.

IMO most of the ones who hate the OT hours would be unbearable to work with if they were forced tens on a daily basis.

30% of the under five year guys cry over working a full eight (even though they come in an hour early each day to sort their truck for free) I guess it’s a generational thing.

In package ?
From the Atlantic:
By mutual agreement between the parties, the Company may place
four (4) ten (10) hour day routes for bid during the bidding process
within the package car classification

As far as I know it's never been done, but the language is there.

It’s an awful idea for package and the upstate New York rider is written like a union give back that most people complain about on here

Wow that definitely is an eye opener. So would they get the same OT for over eight?

Glad it’s never been done.

When I was still in delivery the FedEx drivers in my area were on a 4-10 schedule and they liked it, one of them would always work his day off for straight OT. Also, their day off rotated each week, so Monday the 1st week, Tuesday the 2nd week, etc which meant that every 5th week they got a 4-day weekend (Friday off one week, Monday the next).
UPS would probably screw it all up though, they've got a track record.

Nope, OT after 10 on a 4-10 Schedule:
For employees assigned to four (4) ten (10) hour days, time and one
half (1-1/2) shall be paid for all hours worked in excess of forty
(40) hours in a week or in excess of ten (10) hours in a day.

Yes, that has been my point all along. It’s not that the schedule is a bad idea. Is that allowing UPS that flexibility would only come back to bite us. I can’t think of a time when we gave them flexibility where it didn’t.

This is why I try to stay in my lane.

(Sorry about that post. Phone acting weird )

It’s going to be interesting to see how everything is worked out. I agree with staying in my lane. I work, enjoy the ride, hang out with my customers, cash in, hang out with my family and crash at camp. Repeat weekly.

How about a regular party?? Fridge is full and I have the gps coordinates to find the big grill under the snow outside.

Snow came in and glad we stocked up. I’m gonna have to take a few more days off. I just don’t have the energy to trek out.
Spring can’t come soon enough
