I don't have any problem getting out other than the fact that once we're out it's inevitable that at some point we'll have a feckless like Biden in charge.

That’s just it, where are you going to retaliate from? I don’t see retaliating on groups in Afghanistan from the South China Sea off a carrier as feasible. We have no real allies in the region capable of it.
They will rape that country for resources and be flooded with Chinese and Iranian cash/weapons.

You could argue the Abraham accords are setting up a defensive ally pact for the United States in the region, but do those people have the political will and backbone to police our enemies on our behalf? Do they have the resources to do so? I strongly doubt it.
