Nomenclature aside, your predisposition is clouding your objectivity and compromising your credibility.

As I've mentioned before;

My Local.... was a TDU Local for almost the entire 90's.

I watched the result of that alliance.

did your local respect and support Carey and that gave credibility to TDU?

Interesting question.


My Local was a mess back then, changing Local officers every 3 years.

We still had a good freight presence with Yellow, Roadway, CF, Holland, etc.


TDU had a bigger influence because we were just post-consent decree and

the was still a lot of mob (organized crime) mentality and people were getting

fed up with it. TDU offered a refuge, to more people then.
