Read that long ago, lot of truth to the statement. When Jackson became a Yankee and said he was "the straw that stirs the drink," I was so pissed, I loved Thurman Munson. Munson was the backbone as long as he lived. But Jackson had a way on the field of making true Yankee fans accept him and now love him. I still think Billy could have kicked his ass.
