the problem as i see it is he like many of his ilk are desperately hoping he will be right even though it would hurt this country.

there's a lot of good stuff in this bill that he can benifit from but every post on the house bill is negativity only.

I don’t hope it fails. I’m all for tax cuts because I don’t think this government has the ability to spend money wisely.

Having said that it appears a lot of cuts are coming and a lot of spending as well so I am cautious. Trump is not exactly opposed to massive debt.

Why would I work here if I was disgruntled?

Owning single shares, of any stock is not in my portfolio strategy.

Especially not one where I have so much invested already.

Personally I learn so much from everyone. It’s why this company makes it. The stock should be higher. *Disclosure I do own shares

my biggest problem with the company as it is run now is they are reducing capacity and closing facilities.

the old school upsers ran on the belief that if you aint growing you're dying.

Now any upser even someone like me could see that with amazon building a DC in every neighborhood that it was a matter of time before they started moving more of their own packages.

UPS leadership should have also recognized that once covid died down they could probably expect to see their volume levels die down some too.

now maybe ups will streamline and then try to rebuild but right now they look like they have a lot more pain before they get to that point.

in greece they cut govt services, and it shrunk the economy, increasing the debt.

They didn't have the economy they needed to service the debt they took on. It was giving their citizens the moon without a way to pay for it that got them in trouble. And the ones responsible want to blame everyone else but themselves. And you're no help either. You see Greece as a country that got everything right with the utopian society they created. You think the banks should just continue to give Greece money with no hope of ever getting it back. Things cost Ricky. If you can't pay for it don't buy it to begin with.

yea i think the budget is a formality . the no tax on tips, overtime and SS along with locking in the first round of trump tax cuts will throw a little gas on the economy.

the next round of recission cuts after the budget is finalized will tell the real story as to whether Trump and congress is serious about cutting spending. both parties in congress created this spending nightmare because they benefit from that spending politically. We will see whose serious about balancing the books.

ups still has a lot of assets and cash in the bank , they can easily turn this ship around if they get the right leadership
