THE TRUMP 2024 THREAD

Maybe one day Biden will refuse to hand over documents and lie about having them as well. Anything is possible.
Did Trump lie? He met with the FBI about them and put a lock on the door to the room they were held in per the FBI's request. Then the FBI made a big show of raiding Mar-a-Lago and knew exactly where to go to find the documents. Compare that to the FBI knowing about Biden having documents before the '22 midterms and not doing anything until after. Then turning up documents in multiple locations including at an office not far from a Chinese consulate that a university receiving huge funds from China was maintaining for Biden. And Biden wasn't president when he took documents and had been taking documents dated as early as 1994. So tell me again who's situation is worse?

Once notified of their existence he did exactly what the law required him to do. He notified DOJ and the National Archives.
Trump on the other hand was just asking for it. All he had to do was what the law required him to do,...simply comply with long standing finished law. There's a good chance the transaction would have never even become public .

In politics you do the following if you want to succeed:

1. You leave the women alone. Dear Leader is a man who has had 3 wives, cheated on all of them and is now alleged to have paid
off a porn star to buy her silence.

2. Limit your communications to only that which serves the public interest. You don't get on a WH phone and try to shake down a
democratically elected president nor do you get on WH phone call down to a state capital building and start twisting arms to
try to get that state's election results overturned. Somebody following long standing archival protocols is going to get it
on tape.

3.. Keep it simple. Cooperate with law enforcement. When the National Archives calls you up and tells you that they think that you
have documents that under the Presidential Records Act you cannot possess. You simply tell them to send qualified people, do
an inventory and determine what the law entitles you to keep then send back what you can't. A very routine matter. But oh no,
Dear Leader thinks the law doesn't apply to him. Now look at what he's gotten himself into. He brings this all on himself. And
you know, you can't help but think that he does these dumb things because he loves the attention it brings.
But you see you have no idea when he actually knew when they were there you’re just taking his word. He’s a well known liar. and his word is meaningless. And even still his ignorance of the law or his breaking it isn’t an excuse. Please continue the spin.

Yes, he only had them for 20 something years. BUT, once notified he had them, or someone found them for him, he handed them right over! It’s just funny however that they knew about trumps documents right away. But Biden’s documents took 20 years or so to find… hmmm, nah there’s no deep state, silly conspiracy theorist!

After ignoring requests to turn over documents under the Presidential Records Act , after National Archives personnel went to Mar-A-Lago and after ignoring a subpoena an FBI warrant was the obvious next step. Now did Trump's lawyers fail to inform him that an FBI warrant could be the next step?

The bigger issue that you keep sidestepping is that your Dear Leader refused to comply with the law, gets a warrant served on him then runs to the media and by his own design plays the victim card.

An admirable alternative would be to digitize many of these documents making the paper chase less of a burden.

“Did Trump lie?”

If you’re still asking that, it’s because you’re part of a cult.🤣
Double standard much? Biden lied 133 times so far since he’s been in office. At least trump gave us a 401k that was 20% higher than it is now, cheap groceries, and $1.80 gal. gas. How has biden bettered the situation for everyday average working Americans? U still haven’t given me just one way out country is better under biden.

Trump believed he had a right to those documents. Thus the resistance. He may have been wrong, may have been right. That's for a court to decide. But I noticed you completely sidestepped Biden's much more serious mishandling of classified material. Considering his son was taking millions from the Chinese for doing nothing I think I know which politician is guilty of doing much worse than the other.

Your point has been refuted time and time again. Carry on. Don’t forget, the Donald needs your financial donation for his legal defense.
No, it hasn't. Your government covers for the Democrat while going after the populist Republican. Pure and simple.
