When they see Espionage Act, they only think in terms of 007 and MI movies. Holding Classified Documents is a FELONY under the provisions of The Espionage Act, and it has nothing to do with spying. Moving those documents around to other unsecured locations is another problem. So is lying to your attorneys and telling them, "Yes, we've turned everything over", when, in fact, YOU STILL HAVE THEM. 31 of his 37 charges were for willful retention of classified documents. None were for spying, espionage, betrayal. I know your hopes are up, but the only thing he did was take documents and he apparently bragged about some of it to someone. Better hope the charges in other cases stick because it's very possible he'll get reelected. If so he can legally pardon himself on the Federal charges. And if he has taken office before getting convicted on state charges then they'll have to wait on him to leave office before jailing him. And those cases aren't that strong.
