A gesture of goodwill from one country to another.

I just want us to have the same standards regardless who is in the white house. The next President having massive gifts given to "his library" may not have an R next to his name.

It'd be nice if we had consistency in how those get scrutinized.

I’m have no problem with any president receiving a gift. It’s recognized and recorded. We can’t insult the country that’s giving it either. It will ultimately end up at Trumps presidential library, like Reagan’s plane at his. It’s not under handed like the job Hunter Biden was given, or the money China gave Joe.

It’s not vague, there are clear protocols for receiving gifts. Only the rats take it under the table. It’s not like Trump can’t afford a plane. That’s why he’s accepted over there, he’s an accomplished man in his own right, not a grifter like Biden. Trump knew all those guys from before he was president

the biggest problem to me with the gift is by the time we get it stripped and retrofitted Trump may never fly in it. seems like an unnecessary expense

There’s grease and there’s graft. Biden was corrupt, because he was nothing, a bum. Trump is a billionaire, self made. Those Arabs respect that. They know they will get a return on investment without having to kick back. Trump is for America first. They get it because they are trying to build up their own country on the world stage.
