If it’s a war it’s a war. If he breaks his promise then he broke his promise. Just stop trying to defend every last little thing he does, it looks pathetic.

When Clinton bombed Serbia did we have a declared war? Troops on the ground? The problem with our Democratic presidents since Clinton is they talked a lot but had no spine. Obama drew a red line in the sand in Syria but wouldn't enforce it. There's a reason Putin invaded during Biden's term and not Trump's. No spine. Presidents have the power to take whatever actions they deem necessary to protect the country. And we now have a president willing to use that power.

options, one of which is inserting an elite fighting force to take the facility. That is fraught with risks. I believe that’s a red herring. I think the hope is that the people of Iran will rise up. If not….

Very possible all of this will finally lead to a big enough uprising that the Iranian military will turn on the mullahs. The world will be a better place if Iran becomes a normal country that doesn't back terrorism.

Any religion or ideology that inhibits free speech or expression of thought, needs to be crushed. Communism is the distillation of religious zealotry and cultism. The cult of personality is particularly strong when infused with that venom.
