Time To End The Shutdown?

I used to deliver boats cross country and my favorite dealers were in Mn and Wisconsin. They always wanted me to hang out and have a few drinks. One dealer in MN talked me into going to this lake to help him move an ice fishing house. Everyone on the lake was drunk as hell and it was midweek.
There is an unwritten rule---if it has anything to do with ice fishing-- you have to be drunk.

The mark of a good fiction writer is the ability to take a random topic and create a story in which he/she becomes the central character.

Just Ask Us: Minnesota or Wisconsin — which state has more ...

While Minnesota defines a lake as a body of water that covers at least 10 acres, Wisconsin doesn't have a size requirement. A Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources online database of state lakes contains

Mn. has 21,871 lakes if you count bodies of water over 2.5 acres. The argument continues :-)

Only Alaska has more:

What state has the second most shoreline including lakes?
Minnesota has the most shoreline of any other of the lower 48 states with almost 90,000 miles of freshwater shoreline, according to 50states.com. I’m assuming this is counting the shoreline of all of the approximately 10,000 lakes.

Thanks to one guy that did some extensive research about lake shorelines in the U.S., we can say that Minnesota comes in second for most shoreline including lakes. The state is obviously landlocked and has no coastal shoreline but that doesn’t matter when you factor in the 10,000 lakes

Man of Great Wisdom
I've been to Wisc. hundreds of times (even have some Wisc. friends. --- I know all about those drunks. We were at a big NHRA drag race one summer with a half a dozen Wisc. buddies. One of them lost his billflold down a deep outhouse pit. He lowered his buddy down by the ankles and he grabbed it (for a 100 dollar reward).
Stay the hell out! Or at least have your wife make us some Spam sammiches.
