I watched that clip, he isn't claiming it was "likely" he saved billions. More to the point, is he the first person to have mixed up "billions" and "millions" while speaking? The projected number was millions. That's the issue I would be taking with his statement, because it was never going to be millions of Americans. You can't attack him based on that though, because you have to believe there was going to be some catastrophic death toll in order to justify supporting the totalitarian lock downs. If you have to rely on gaffes to impugn Trump, it just shows how desperate you are. Carry on.

Please read my post again. If he meant billions, and not millions, he was not talking about simply the US. But, what else did he say that suggested that what he did had worldwide implications? I don't know, 'cause all Gish Gallop gave me was a twenty second clip somewhere in the middle of an hour and a quarter long press conference, so I have zero context. From the clip, it seemed to me that he said billions and clearly meant millions. The clip I came across with his quote about Joe Biden, he says billions many times. It's not hard to imagine someone saying billions several times could accidentally repeat it when he meant millions. But let's go ahead and fixate on a gaffe, it just adds to the evidence that some people are completely delusional when it comes to Trump.

We're so lucky to have people like you, and a million op-ed writers, to pour over his every word to raise the alarm every time he misspeaks, exaggerates, or says something true that can be twisted into sounding unreasonable.
