To guarantee or not to guarantee, that is the question.

We don't have PT cover drivers, but the company will try to use air drivers the same way. Pay us top driver rate so it's great. The Union tries to stop it and it ends for a while but that just puts more work on the younger drivers. Just a different name for the same job.

We have a lot of drivers that fight over not getting guarantee, they'd rather run 05 ( pay actual ) and burn routes to get in.

What? Why? How can they grieve if they agree and put 05 in? Why would they put 05 in? Is management changing it to 05?

By forcing them to 06 they MUST take a lunch of unpaid 1hr. Management knows they'll burn it anyways so they get a free 1hr out of it if they deny them a 05.

Same here if you're a driver you're FT. We have had times when the bottom few were laid off. Still get hours though. I double shifted a few times in my day to get my 8.

Here, ten minutes paid and eleven minutes unpaid, but changes every so often. I think they change the amount of time just because they can, and want to mess with us a little.
