Run as fast as you can and don't look back.

They are moving away from temps as much as possible. The stations will still hire a few to cover right to decline stops. A temp in a straight truck is much cheaper than outside linehaul power. Is FedEx ground still going to hire temp agency drivers to help with the overflow?
One hub is doing away with that & its on the subcontractor to service their zip codes.. They better get on the ball and not rely just on the free craigslist ads to find "professional drivers"
. While another hub hired about 20 hourlies last peak to help out. . Guess it varies depending on geographic areas//
Job seekers aren't as snooty as you imply
He's trying to form a defacto union. Ask Express how well that works. In my terminal there is a contractor that is trying to get all the contractors not to sign this b.s. What would x do if nobody signed, nobody buy nobody sell. Let's face it buyers don't want to buy they are being forced. Sellers are also being forced. The problem with his idea is those lousy bottom feeders.
What terminal exactly? I'll send them a business plan for all the free stuff. Set it up, run it until I find a buyer. Easy money. We are all going to meet if I can trust the others I'm in like John Hancock
I'm betting you'll find reasons not to trust the others and they will all find reasons not to trust the others. We are all going to meet if I can trust the others I'm in like John Hancock
I would like to see how it played out though. We are all going to meet if I can trust the others I'm in like John Hancock
Good point, we will have many things to talk about. The majority of the terminal is fed up. Multiple route owners too. I hope we can come up with something. I know it will just be a small blip on the screen for x, but you have to start somewhere. Lawsuit talks are gaining traction.I'm betting you'll find reasons not to trust the others and they will all find reasons not to trust the others.
Besides, X has a contract with each entity, not.the group. They can pick a contractor and make an example of contract termination fairly quickly and see how many "bottom feeders" they can churn up.

There you go again. He's trying to form a defacto union. Ask Express how well that works
Am i? What have I said that is untrue? There you go again.
You're more obsessed with union talk than anyone else here.
Some men are men and some men slide on there yellow bellies.I would expect the current multiple owners to pretend to be as outraged as you. Tell you all they are with you and on board. Then head in to the senior manger's office and hand them a plan to cover a handful of routes at a moments notice. When it comes to business I wouldn't trust any contractor.
Men will do what's in the best interest of themselves as well as their families. Risking their livelihood to make some point to a multinational corporation will likely not be in their best interest. Playing along and acquiring more potential revenue for free will be in their best interest. People are selfish, take the money. Some men are men and some men slide on there yellow bellies.
