Transforming Claims

    When hearing about claims it is often said that it is the customers fault. I have to disagree with this. It is clearly a UPS responsiblity to refuse any package that is not packed correctly. UPS policy even admits that most claims are from failure in UPS, not the customer. It also states that when there is doubt UPS accepts the blame.(This can be found on page 33 of the current UPS Policy BooK).

    Changing this horrible attitude of blaming the customer for UPS failure will go a long way in transforming claims in the US.
