No. We flew into lax in the afternoon and drove straight to San Luis obispo and spent night.
We started at dawn and drove leisurely to Julia pfeiffer park, big sur, 17 mile drive and stopped in Pacifica. Then skied south Lake Tahoe, toured/drank in Napa valley then finished in San Fran.
I didn't leave my heart in San Francisco.

This post is actually for Upstate because he probably knows the answer.
It's actually advice and opinion I need from people that live in that general area.
The option to pm Dave is N/A,and since this is not BC related, going through the mod forum
to ask would be wrong.I really doubt if he reads this thread anyway,so if he posts something,
please let him know I'd like his advice.
OK heres the question. We were planning a 5 day trip to the USA,but plans unfortunately
got changed and we only have 3 days now. We're going to stay in hotels 2 days,
and do some shopping and hopefully finding some interesting scenery along the way.
As it is,our goal is Erie PA,but I'm wondering if anyone has any better ideas.
I promise you Dave,we will not sleep in the Walmart parking lot :)
Advice?

DS, I received and accepted your friend request. I will do some research this evening and give you some suggestions as to where I would go based on your limited schedule. Dave.

Presque Isle State Park in Erie is a go to. Cleveland is only a little over an hour away and home to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with Lake Erie Science Center.

Don't forget, you can get possibly the best pierogies in the world in the Polish Cleveland area !!

DS loves pierogies!!

I do love perogies,if we feel adventurous Cleveland is an option.
Doesn't least best live around there somewhere? He likes to play
his banjo on a rock on Lake Erie.
