Trump believes violence in the street helps his campaign so he encourages his followers to incite violence. He has no plan to address the protests so he’s trying to escalate them in the hope it will scare enough suburban voters to believe he will magically handle the situation after reelection.
The last time trump sent Federal troops into Portland the protest grew from a couple hundred to thousands. So now trump sends in his right wing militias to stir up more trouble and media attention.
The violence started and has continued without any Trump influence. He has stood by and allowed it to continue because it absolutely does help his campaign. I think they should have sent in the National Guard as soon as it was clear the Democrat mayors weren't going to stop it. Peaceful protests are fine, but the rioting, looting, murder should've been stopped very quickly. Whether Trump wins or loses expect some serious riot control after the election.

No he doesn't have them under control but he does encourage their behavior. Trump wants anarchy in this country so he can make himself dictator like Putin has done in Russia. Always amazes me when the Left refuses to denounce the riots, looting, and brutal physical violence of those on the Left then has the audacity to say this is what the Right wants and is encouraging. Left is right, up is down.
Not sure about the "left" but Joe Biden and his running mate have denounced all of the looting and rioting by both sides. He wants to unite the country and solve the problems that trump has encouraged the last 4 years, We need a law and order President and not one enjoying sanctuary and fears the legal consequences if he is not re elected.
