The DOT doesnt have a 30 day limit. Over 30 days you have to display your DOT number on the outside. If under 30 days you're not required to display on the outside but you have to carry a rental agreement with that information. Has FedEx ever checked your paperwork when running a budget truck? I've never had the proper paperwork showing FedEx DOT numbers on the rental agreement. That's why they used to give us magnets for rentals.
