I do too. And my wife. And help my dad by living with him. I could be perfectly comfortable on my income living overseas but have family obligations. Took his wife and stepdaughter to Miami for Spring Break from Michigan yet won't give my mother a penny. So please don't tell me how selfish I am. When my dad passes I'm in South America. Might be a year, might be 5. But I give my money to them. $1840 a month pension and almost half goes to my wife and mother. And my wife's income is more than twice mine. I don't give a damn about the money. But when faced with a bill of hundreds of thousands and THEY say don't worry, we'll write it off, and the home healthcare nurse says they're doing everything pro bono, you think I'm going to say no? You think I went begging to them? They asked if I had insurance. I said no. They said don't worry. Your problem is you think you already have everything figured out. Well this old fool knows what he knows from a lifetime of reading and living. And know there's always more to learn. But not you buddy. You've got it all figured. People like us can’t blame happy people for living their lives guilt free while not helping the less fortunate in their families. I expect a Republican sweep in the Senate and Congress this year no matter what happens in the world stage...Inflation will slowly eat away at Middle America, and people will be voting their pocketbooks, the Dems already shown that they are not responsible enough to run things. I saw that speech by Zelenskyy, well done.. the unedited video was very effective. He is a stark contrast to the politicians who were watching despite of their applause they will be willing to sell him out for a political agenda. He knows this and is using everything possible to save his country and people, he will not get his jets. I pray that Putin will be willing to make a agreement before he sends his young troops into these major cities.. it will be a bloodbath for all involved.

Remember that the two combatants are of one nationality and share history. It will have an affect on both Ukraine and Russia if this gets real ugly, Russia has the most to loss if they purposely target and destroy civilians and cities. They better start to bargaining in good faith and save face.
