Sorry, I have to call BS on this one. Unless one driver is delivering the air that the second driver cannot get to on time there is no way PAS/EDD would have two drivers delivering to the same house on the same day. Just think about it for a second---the bullseye is scanned and a PAL applied--how would the system know to PAL one package to me and the other one to you for the same address?

Misload? 3 packages for one stop,1 get's misloaded by chance both drivers at same house at same time? I've seen it happen.

Yes but the two of them made it sound as though both drivers were dispatched to the same house, which of course cannot happen (unless it is air).

Says 5 boxes going to my house n driver a shows up early n downloads Edd when he gets there and those 5 are in his road for the day. Preloader gets print out for add cut and only finds 3/5 while said driver is pooping and/or in a pcm. Preloader tells sup he can't find 2/5 of the packages from add cut and tells his sup that wants them to go home and over worked sup doesn't spread message adequatelybecause they're being forced to clean others drivers loads that are piled due to late loads and/or sending drivers preloaders home during said pcm.
It happens in large hubs daily and can make you cry like baby when you are rushed out the door because you can't find 2/3 ground becaude you have so much air and are rushed out the door to make it happen.

Also. the infamous 7:45 add cut and somehow not all packages get pulled.

On a side note,like you mentioned Upstate ever been delivering air in an area only to pass the guy already doing the grounds in that area? I have! More than once may I add.

Drivers should update their EDD right after the PCM to ensure they have the latest version of what is on their cars. Any add/cuts will have been added/deleted; however, if the preloader of PT sup cannot find all of the packages in an add/cut and you find them in the load the data will still be in EDD.
I am saying that the PDS will not knowingly dispatch 2 drivers to the same house on the same day unless he is trying to meet an air commit time.

Call BS all you want, Dave. Ask your center manager about the Black River dispatcher. I am positive he has heard about him. The Potsdam center manager refused to allow him to transfer to that center because he is so horrible and he doesn't want to waste his day helping drivers so he looks good for the 10am call the next day.

He could be deaf, dumb and blind yet the system would not allow 2 drivers to be dispatched to the same house on the same day for non-NDA packages. How would they be PAL'd? The only way it could be done is if the PDS is taking one of the packages from Driver A and handwriting the lane number for Driver B on to the PAL--other than that, there is no way to do this through PAS/EDD.

Tell us how he is doing it as it impossible to do using PAS/EDD. You simply cannot dispatch 2 or more drivers to the same address on the same day unless one is delivering a premium product that the other cannot get to on time. The PDS will go in to the system and designate which addresses go to which lane based on service level. I cannot deliver much of the air on my area so 2 drivers who deliver out of town will deliver the air on their way to their respective areas. The bullseye will be scanned and PAL generated based upon the data in PAS/EDD.
Other than an add/cut not properly completed or a PDS trying to meet a SPC by purposely sending two drivers to the same address (splitting the delivery up by handwriting the lane numbers) there is no way two or more drivers can be dispatched to the same house on the same day.
