UPS drivers say employer won't provide hand sanitizer, masks - Toronto Sun

Some UPS drivers in the GTA say they feel unsafe working on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic because the company has not provided them with masks, gloves, hand sanitizer or disinfectant wipes.

A number of drivers who contacted the Toronto Sun — but didn’t wish to be identified for fear of retribution by their employer — say the delivery company has done little to protect them from catching the virus while on the job.

Seems to me as if taking chances with your life isn’t worth proving a point to UPS. Buy your own gloves, masks, wipes and hand sanitizer. I’m not going to depend on my company to protect me.

I think the general point is UPS doesn't care about safety despite what they say. Truth hurts and they deserve the bad press.
