UPS store pickup

What do you do when a package label says 1lb but that bitch is like 40-50lbs and the staff at the store think they own you and think they’re your boss?

Act like a professional and make the pick up. If you feel a pkg needs to be audited, separate it and give to your management team when you return. We are in the service business and that's all we need to remember. The satisfaction of knowing that you make 3x what they make should be enough to suppress your disdain for them.

Disagree.

Bad labels with wrong weights are safety issues.... period.

The UPS store has a scale. You simply bring the package over and make them wwight it and correct the weight on the label.

To OP, do t take any of their :censored2:. Yes act professional, but it is not unprofessional to say NO. You DO NOT work for the sore, regardless of the name upon it, and they have zero authority over you. You must Control the situation at all times.

Just had a driver get a 6 week vacation for acting in a unprofessional and disruptive manner at a UPS store. The company takes a very seriously stance on their accounts, brand and revenue. Don't put yourself between a dog and it's food.

Lol, the management team? Those clowns are home by time we get in. Truth is, they don't care. Our building eliminated the recovery people.

You pick up the packages and you separate them from all your other pickups and you notify your management team of what's going on and let them make the decision.

Now if it's not properly packed you have absolutely every right not to pick it up.

We've had drivers terminated for being unprofessional at DOT examination. It doesn't surprise me one bit if a driver was acting unprofessional in a UPS store around customers that he'd be terminated and have to go to panel for his job back.

When you wear the uniform you need to be careful about what you say or do.
