Reverse split adjusted. YRCW never got below $1. Amazing that it traded over $18,800 a share in 2005. Has nothing on DRYS with traded at over $1.4 billon in 2007.If UPS were going to buy YRC, they would have done it when they were trading under $1/share.
The OPs relative is better off staying where he/she is at.

She should let someone touch her butt during her performances.
Only costs a dollar...She should let someone touch her butt during her performances.
YRC has very little to offer UPS.So I'm sure some of you have seen the stock at YRC tanking. I wonder if this might be a preamble to UPS buying YRC. Personally I think this would create a incredible carrier. I've worked for both and can say.....they are so much alike.
We've just hammered out a deal for our new 5 year contract. Not everyone got what they wanted, but I'm happy for some added stability for 5 more years.
NOW would be a great time to marry these two carriers and create the premier LTL carrier.
I'm buying!
The company has very little value, too much debt and too much pension liability. Not true.....We both have customers and drivers to compliment each company. We do have better equipment at UPS which I know would be a welcome site for YRC drivers
no you wont do none of thisNot true.....We both have customers and drivers to compliment each company. We do have better equipment at UPS which I know would be a welcome site for YRC drivers
UPS wanted growth outside of the USAWell you raise some very valid points....
That would probably be the only thoth attractive to Brown. The pension liability and buying another union company is probably something they don't want to deal with.YRC has a huge presence in China.... I never knew they owned a large trucking company there
