Best part of Vegas is walking down the strip and having a cocktail in my hand. Vegas has some of the best shopping around.

metrophilly.....i love the poker machines, but the more confusing type games like multi strike bonus poker or spin reel poker.

I also have a fond spot for 4-card Keno....won $7,000 a day for 5 days in a row by hitting 7 out of 7 each day. That was my bestest trip ever!
man 7k a day for 5 days! sick. hence your name man. i have been there 5 straight years to no avail. least i lost was 1,750.. most i lost 4,800. i have zero self control as you can see.

You will like Vegas. Not the gambling but just for the sites to see. I never gamble much but do look around alot. Some of the people will just amaze you.

I have never had any interest in visiting Vegas. Gambling's not my thing, I guess. I've played slot machines on cruise ships, but just to try it out.

No way....no how...you couldn't kill me and put my corpse on one of those things. I couldn't even watch the whole video. LOL
Well you and I could sit at the bar while mine went and rode one of those things. It would take several really REALLY big guys to put me on one of those. And some of those guys would not walk away unharmed. :happy-very:What about DW? Would she ride or sit at the bar with us?

When I stayed at the Stratosphere, it was just $20 a night. That was in the dead of August though, and it will be a bit more at the time of the wedding. But no matter the time of year, The Stratosphere is the cheapest hotel on the strip. And it was a nice hotel room: I had no issues with it at all, inspite of it's rock bottom price. The Riviera and Excalibur are also inexpensive.

Harrah's is a great place to stay. One thing while your out there, always get a players card no matter how much you gamble. If you have a Harrah's card they have free shuttles to the Rio. Check on line for coupons and when you register at what ever hotel also check for coupons. Harrah's has a great buffet, a little pricey but if your into seafood, well worth it.

Mandalay Bay has a huge shark aquarium that is almost a must see. Just going inside the Luxor is facsinating and there is or was a free tram that went from Mandalay Bay to Imperial Palace.

Caesars has free shows in the halls on the hour. and the Cheesecake factory is a great place for a sugar fix. Caesars also has the fountain show out in front at night. very impressive.

Belliago has the impressive gardens.

The Venention you can take a gondola ride.

The Fremont street experience is awesome. The latter the show you catch the better the music, at least for me.

The Four Queens has a good buffet.

Like I said get players card wherever you go and use them when ever you can. Some places will discount you a couple of bucks for a buffet just for having one.

Register online at some of the casino's. They may send you coupons for a free night or a buy one get one.

I like Harrah's. live music right out side with a bar and blackjack tables.

Oh yeah, if you play blackjack, go to binions and play in the corner, don't take your wife....lol

one more thing, register at all pricelines, travelocity, etc. you can get great deals for flights if your flexible. But you'll have to act quick when they arrive....have never payed over $200 round trip.

This is the table. It's the corner where you first go in the door.

Hey klein, thanks for the info on the ebay deals. I e-mailed both people at the wyndam and The Signature. Only The Signature has replyed so far, and he gave me a price of 730 for the week all taxes and everything included. With airfare from Buffalo at 240 roundtrip per person, I think this is the one. It looks great. Thank You for the heads up.

Yup, thats a wonderful price for that large Suite !
Your daughter and son inlaw won't even have such a great room !

e-bay works wonders.
I just bought another timeshare on it, and currently bidding on a Villa Luxery Suite rental in Cancun.

And, you are more then welcome.

Airfare, you probably could get cheaper if you searched.... but, you do wanna fly with the group....(and I would spend the few extra dollars myself to do the same).

Keep me informed, how you'll eventually decide.
I do wannna know the outcome of my help now..:)

And don't gamble too much !
Thats what I like about the Wyndham - no darn machines in thier lobby or property.
On the strip you can't get away from them.

And keep in mind the signature one, doesn't have a seperate bedroom, the wyndham has 2 of them.

Don't play the slot machines at the airport in Vegas. I don't think they have had a major winner in 50 years:wink2:
