Weak Union Brother…he should be ashamed

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
just asked chat GPT to write me a story like this clearly, this is what they did……

Mike loved the freedom and independence his job as a UPS driver offered him. He relished the opportunity to explore the town, meet new people, and bring smiles to their faces with every delivery he made. The satisfaction of completing his route efficiently and accurately was immeasurable. The $40 an hour wage was a bonus that enabled him to provide a comfortable life for his loved ones.

Yet, within the UPS workplace, the union drama loomed large. Conflicts and disagreements between union representatives and management often created tension and disrupted the harmony of the workplace. While Mike understood the importance of collective bargaining and the need to protect workers' rights, he wished for a more peaceful and collaborative work environment.

Don’t worry @UnionStrong the story gets better….. oh chat GPT you’re such a dreamer

“Over time, a shift occurred within the UPS workplace. People began to focus on their shared purpose rather than the differences that divided them. The union drama gradually gave way to open dialogue, compromise, and a renewed sense of camaraderie. Both management and union representatives recognized the value of fostering a positive work culture that allowed employees like Mike to thrive.”

With some people, the jading process does take a little longer. 10 years is a long time, which kind of makes this story a little suspect.
haha that’s true and it’s fun to watch the n00bs slowly realize how the operation really goes. Me however, Day 31, I was like “shop steward, now!”

Dear Penthouse,

I am a UPS driver, and I never expected this to happen to me, but one day as I was delivering to the college sorority house, my life took an unexpected turn.

It was a sunny afternoon when I arrived at the vibrant sorority house, ready to drop off a package. As I walked up the steps, I couldn't help but notice the laughter and music coming from inside. I rang the doorbell, and a young woman with sparkling blue eyes and a friendly smile opened the door.

"Hey there! You must be the UPS guy," she said cheerfully.

"That's right. I have a package for the sorority house," I replied, trying to hide my surprise at how stunning she looked.

She stepped aside, inviting me in. "Come on in. We've been expecting a delivery. The other girls are in the living room."

Feeling a mix of excitement and nerves, I followed her through the front door. The living room was a lively scene with a group of sorority sisters chatting, laughing, and dancing to energetic music. The atmosphere was electric, and I couldn't help but be drawn into the contagious energy.

As I handed over the package to the girl who had greeted me, she smiled and said, "Thank you so much for bringing it. Do you want to stay and join us for a little while? We're having a party tonight."

I hesitated, not knowing how to respond. The thought of staying and mingling with these lively, beautiful women was tempting, but I also knew I had a job to do.

"I appreciate the offer, but I should probably get back to work," I replied, feeling a tinge of regret.

The girl pouted playfully, making it even harder to resist. "Are you sure? It would be a shame for you to miss out on all the fun."

As if on cue, another girl, with fiery red hair and a mischievous grin, joined in. "Oh, come on! It's just one night. You deserve a break. Besides, we won't take no for an answer."

The room erupted into laughter and agreement, with the other girls chiming in and insisting that I stay. Feeling overwhelmed by their collective charm, I couldn't help but give in.

"All right," I said, a smile creeping onto my face. "One night won't hurt."

The party was a whirlwind of joy, laughter, and unexpected connections. I found myself engaged in conversations that spanned from lighthearted banter to deep discussions about life and dreams. These young women, full of passion and ambition, amazed me with their intelligence and wit.

As the night wore on, the sorority sisters invited me to dance with them. We moved to the rhythm of the music, and for a brief moment, it felt like time stood still. In that shared space, there was no UPS driver and sorority girls—just people enjoying the magic of the present moment.

As the party came to an end, and the sorority house quieted down, I knew I would never forget this night. It wasn't just the unexpected adventure or the beautiful women I had met—it was the realization that sometimes, life surprises you in the most extraordinary ways.

In the days that followed, I continued my deliveries to the sorority house, and those vibrant, unforgettable experiences became cherished memories. I couldn't help but smile every time I saw those familiar faces, knowing that they had brought a touch of magic into my life.

So, dear Penthouse, that's the story of how a simple delivery to a college sorority house turned into an unforgettable night of laughter, connection, and a reminder that sometimes, the most extraordinary moments can happen when we least expect them.

Sincerely, The UPS Driver

We have a leftover SCAB from '97 that took vacation for the last week in July plus the month of August off. I think the union should mandate him be the guy on the picket line the longest this time. I don't go back that far, but I was told he was the only one to cross (after 1 week) and they made him handwrite apology notes before they let him back in.

So at least this Hanoi Hannah that agreed to this propaganda hasn't done that---YET.

But, if I were in his building. I would walk up to him and ask why he's selling out his brothers and sisters like that and encourage every single other person to as well.

Definitely wasn’t a driver who wrote that story. Someone who knows a very small amount about what we do, made up what they think we do and happens. Or maybe
@Dragon wrote it. After all, he thinks we should just be happy we have jobs. 😀

Nope @Dragon wasn’t involved..probably someone in Corporate.. has that feel about it..
