same thing happened to me, I bought a different type of shoes, they are brown leather, non slip i wore them for a week and my center manager said I could not wear them because they are not polishable, I went to my doc and had him write me a prescribtion and for a week I wore them , then the DM told my center manager noway, i don't know how it is in other places but here my union does nothing and we get pile up on work and have to watch our backs all the time......
