Yes. Why would they have to follow anyone? Civilian GPS notes speed limits and warns drivers of exceeding posted speeds. Seems that telematics could/would do the same. But yet we hear that telematics cannot be used in discipline....BS. Drive 30 feet without your seatbelt. I find it hard to believe that anyone was trained to speed and run stop signs. Yet, I see it out in public(by UPS drivers) all night/day long. Can you imagine the fallout from a UPS accident caused by a driver deliberately ignoring traffic laws? Testimony to the fact that "we were trained that way""keep it rolling".
