What does a an On-Car Supervisor do?

On car supervisor is the toughest, most stressful job for the money in UPS period. The only reason to take that job is if you think you can get promoted from there. If you decide to go that route then you will have to devote your life to UPS. You must put UPS first over friends, family, personal health, ect. I am not being negative , sarcastic, or trying to scare you off . I'm just telling you what you will need to succeed.

Still the "toughest, most stressful job for the money in UPS period."
That was the way it was in the past ... not sure about now.
The carrot being dangled is not so large anymore and most supervisors have college degrees now-therefore options.

Here, they often let them go after a few hours, leave all the missloads up to the drivers and do nothing more then spew empty threats which often lead to files thus money for a few poor choice words.

It is a hard job though. You can go 4 hours a day and go home. Then a problem driver gets the rag and you'll spend 14 hours in three days to ride around with him/ her. During the start of the new year, each driver gets a day ride along, perhaps two sometimes. You can be on road 10+ hours and another 4+ each morning beforehand. One of the fastest jobs lost in any building is ridealong soups.
