I use my 16 hour extended time exception probably every other week. Pretty common for feeders around here.

So it says a 5 day pattern. Does that mean it can only be used on the 5th 6th or 7th day?

Nope, any day, every seven days or 34 hour reset. Just make sure to get 10 hours off duty before the next day.

You gotta remember you still can't work over 8 hours without 30 minutes off duty though.

So if you were to take your full hour meal between the 4th and 5th hour, you would need another 30 minutes off duty to work past hour 13.
