President Trump loves prosperity gospel preachers -- he recognizes the shrewd game of hustling their flock. It's a kinship. But as far as Jesus Christ and Donald Trump? I've read the New Testament and I've witnessed Trump for the last many number of years. I thought Christians, while they are certainly sinners as everyone else, were supposed to be "Christ-like". I just do not see the Christ-like, repentant behavior from him. Donald Trump makes no attempt to reconcile his pathological lying. He's a conman.

So it matters what a person lies about? Calling our elections "free and fair" doesn't make it true. I'm not gonna start an argument about that, you believe what you believe about it. What if your political opponents actually deserved to be in jail? It still wouldn't be ok to say it?

There's no doubt that Trump upset the power structure. It's clear to me that pretty much all the anti-Trump rhetoric being repeated in the establishment echo chambers is a direct result of the fact that Trump wasn't "supposed to" win. As such, most of the negative feelings people have towards Trump is a direct result of the establishment response to Trump.

A strong government has its good points, but a government that is too strong, or working in lock step with corporations, is a threat to individual liberty. Anyone who stands with or for the establishment is never going to be good for the individual. You may feel like a winner because "your team" won, it's caused by a rush of dopamine in the brain.

But while you identify as a Democrat against Republicans, the teams are not divided that way. It's the rulers vs the riff raff. As crude, self-promoting, and narcissistic as he was, Trump was more on the riff raff team than a vast majority of politicians. With the status quo being restored to the power structure we have all lost while the rulers continue to win.
