What Should The West Do?

Get yer mind out of the past and wake up.

The sole purpose of the importation of immigrants into this nation is to undermine and replace ordinary, working-class citizens.

I live in an area where many native-born citizens experience chronic job and housing insecurity. It gets worse every year.

This is NOT how it was thirty years ago. Wanna know what turned Mayberry into a mini-L.A.?

I know what happened because I watched it happen:

Rich, white liberals and unregulated, unskilled immigration. Coming someday to yer holler, and yer house on the hill.
Yes, they will and I will learn to accept one thing you refuse to accept....change. And BTW, guess what? We are taking in 100,000 Ukrainian refugees under emergency expedited law. And oh, it gets better. Hungary has asked the EU for funds to help take care of the refugees who have arrived on it's door step and who are among the 3.4 million people who have fled Ukraine. So expect more to arrive.
Furthermore if you really are a "mountaineer" chances are you live in the West Virginia/Appalachia region , part of the country that also hates change didn't want to try and diversify it's economy. All it wanted to do was to dig coal. And now that we're moving toward cleaner burning fuels it also refuses to accept the changing US energy configuration.

What we’re moving towards is scarcity and zero energy

I am a multi-generation native of, and life-long resident of California. I am NOT from West Virginia/Appalachia! SMH.

Unlike the vast majority of Californians; I was raised in, and live in a rural area. My adult working life has mostly consisted of blue-collar occupations and trades.

I have witnessed the transformation of my state. And what happened when the rich, white liberals finally found, and invaded my community. My generation, and those after, have suffered the negative consequences of excessive immigration, stratification, and liberal democrat rule.

What begins and happens in California, will someday be reflected in the rest of this nation. I serve as a canary in a mine shaft.

I plainly remember as a kid that there were plenty of people who scoffed at, and ridiculed The Surgeon General's warning on tobacco products. The years rolled by, and the results of that warning very often came to fruition.

And there are those that scoff and ridicule my warning as well.

So you don't like what's happening to California huh? Now you know what the Native Americans felt like when the Spanish took ii from them and what Mexico felt like when the US forcibly annexed it from them. You know the old saying...."what goes around comes around". And BTW, how many of those people in those "blue collar trades and occupations " worked directly or indirectly for "rich, white liberals"?

Everybody who was involved with that has been dead for a very long time. For a person who advocates for "change" and forgetting about the past, you have an amusing habit of digging up the past when you think it serves your bizarre arguments.
You know the old saying...."what goes around comes around".
You are plainly fond of trotting out old sayings, and reciting them as gospel.

Here's another old saying. One you have obviously ignored:

..."two wrongs don't make a right."

In the minds of people like that poster anyone who’s a Christian and white male and conservative is a redneck who has no education and they’re scum. Probably must live in West Virginia or Kentucky or some “horrible” place.

Appalachia is actually quite beautiful I lived in WV for a few years. Much nicer than any dark blue city where people are crapping in streets and tossing used heroin needles around I might add.

Too bad for the leftists the flyover country that they spit on has a lot of people who own guns too

Of course they have guns. It's the only thing they have that gives them a sense of empowerment albeit a twisted one.

And another wise saying. "Those who fail to learn the lessons of history are condemned to repeat them" Yes, the people you mentioned are dead but the history of the violent period in which they lived and the lessons they have left behind is their legacy.

The speed and ease by which the masses of the world can now travel freely has increased the level of contact between different cultures and that's just something everyone will just have to adapt to.

I am fully aware that the purpose of years of propaganda, demonization, and debasement of my demographic will be to justify whatever social and economic punishments (soft genocide) that liberal democrats see fit.

Followed by what happened to the Russian Cossacks of the 1920's, and the German Jews of the 1930's.

I know of a few "lessons from history." Nonetheless, due to the myopia and stupidity of others, It is me that they intend to "condemn."

Another wise saying: " Communism/Socialism has NEVER worked and is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of millions...."

And yet, we have openly communist/socialist in the leadership of our country. With the next generation begging for communism/socialism(same thing).

It occurred to me that we are living in a soon to be "Hunger Games" reality.

I can't wait to hear on CNN that Americans have probably needed to go on a diet anyway.

To the uninitiated and uneducated and ignorant. Communism/socialism looks like a form of government that will take care of everyone and everyone will be happy. Intellectuals who only read books and never do anything but sit in the faculty lounge, teach the young that this is the best way, sure it’s failed before… “but this time it will succeed because we are more enlightened now”. Every generation seems to go through this cycle and it fails every time, with disastrous amounts of pain and suffering and death.

Ah brilliant. This should improve things.

"US President Joe Biden declared forcefully Saturday that Russian President Vladimir Putin should no longer be the leader of his country.

"For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power," Biden announced at the very conclusion of a capstone address delivered at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.

It was the furthest Biden has gone in calling for regime change in Russia, and it reflects a significant change in the American approach to Moscow."

This incompetent idiot is going to get us into a war with Russia. His twisted desire to be seen as a tuff guy is going to "backfire" on all of us...
