I'm afraid I gave the wrong year for our Camero. We did have a '78 vehicle, but it was a Dodge Van. The Camero was an '83 Z-28 H.O.
It was UPS brown with a gold pinstriping. Really pretty !!

I was/am a Hershey's man.:happy2:
Feeling first car pride.
I sat behind the steering wheel and started my car.
For some strange reason, I like to name inanimate objects.
As I was pondering what to name my new steed, I turned on my AM radio.
Damned if it wasn't the exact commercial you just posted.
Bosco was the first sound that came through my little 4" 6 volt speaker.
"Bosco give me iron and sunshine" became my "Hi Yo Silver, Away!"
No joke, but it was the 60's

Saturday night used to be sundae night. A girl from my long ago, Cathy, loved chocolate syrup. Whether it was Hershey's or Bosco that we used didn't matter. Mix in some whipped cream, sprinkles and marshmallow. Sometimes we even had ice cream! We had fun and washed off in the shower.(that was fun too!):wink2:

OK, I'll never be able to call it a "sundae" again. Now it will have to be an ice cream delight from now on.

Heres my first car, its a 1972 Chevy Vega GT. It was a hand me down from my big brother. He had overheated the four cylinder and warpped the block. He gave it to me for free at the time, but later my first rifle, a .30 M1 Carbine, somehow disappeared as part of this deal.
Anyway, I yanked the engine out and replaced it with a 350 smallblock. The rearend got replaced with a GTO 12 bolt with shortened axles. Dual Exhausts. Front and rear spoilers, and a pro stock hoodscoop were added too. The lime green paint got covered up with red. The thing would pull the front wheels off the ground. The car was fast as long as you went in a straight line. It got replaced by a '69 Vett, my second car.
