No “reputable” economist ever said that. If they did they weren’t reputable to begin with. Sweden never locked down and their economy is doing fine.
Covid isn’t deadly enough to overwhelm hospitals or cause any massive amounts of deaths. Covid has caused less than 20k deaths in the US. The “official” numbers are crap, Fauci, Birx, the heads of the CDC and DHHS all say so. But democrats are desperate for anything to stick to Trump so they repeat the debunked numbers.
Their credibility is shot with anyone who can google anyways so people keep spreading it.
