Is that 23 thing good? Do you find relatives?

It is. I didn’t have any parent/cousin surprises and most of my relatives on there were 4th/5th cousin or farther back. Lots of folks do have surprises, though. Find out they have siblings they never knew about, their supposed parent isn’t actually their biological parent, etc.

I downloaded all of my ancestry/relative reports and data and canned my account. Privacy/data breaches/ownership transfers etc aren’t a big concern right now, but could be in the future.

I should get me one of those tests. Maybe find some kids now that it's past child support time.

I’m not adopted, but doing a 23andMe DNA test and then uploading the raw data to a service called Promethease allowed me to see all sorts of health-related stuff, both positive and negative that my genetic markers have probably set me up for. And it confirmed some theories I’d had about medications and substances I should avoid. Allowed me to make some immediate changes I might have otherwise waited years to move forward with, or even never made at all.

Adoptees might be well-served by doing the same. Privacy concerns are valid.
Did it confirm your micro penis ?

That is a whole different situation entirely. Completely understandable but I don't think the story was about that group.

I wonder what percentage of the population is adopted?
Me, for one. I don't know what 1/39000000.....what percentage am I?

A simple genetic blood panel told me I'm a BRCA2 mutation carrier and my kids needed to be warned. They found a cold case murderer because his sister did the DNA thing to find out her heritage...….found out her brother murdered someone in 1992.
