A division manager once told us that we need to make safety a "personal value" and I took it to heart. In accordance with that I let the company know I would not be working tonight.

Last blizzard, neighboring centers off road at 2. I got Messaged to come in at 4. Punched out at 5.
Last storm we sent everybody out, about 11 we called them all back in. Absolute waste of a day. I'm advocating to shut down tomorrow because we're going to end up doing the same exact thing again. And frankly I don't want to be out all day pulling guys out.

Supposed to get 20 inches of snow tomorrow. Preload and drivers are all supposed to come in. Can't imagine the drivers will be out too long though.

Too bad Brown Jake is not in that area.
He would run his regular route within the usual time frame.
After all, (in his own mind) he is the greatest Driver ever and can do things no other driver can possibly do!

Hoping my center does not run tomorrow. We're forecasted for 2 feet, have a blizzard warning and the county declared a state of emergency starting 5am tomorrow morning until 11pm.
